As a Healer, setting a strong intention is one of the most important elements to provide a successful healing session.

Through intention I connect the needs of the client with the source. To direct the energy, setting a dedicated intention is a critical aspect. The more emphasis I put into it, the better the energy will flow. I fully dedicate myself to the moment. This includes clearing, what is going on around me, letting go and connect in the moment. I envision myself in a grounded, secure position from where I continue with the process.
When working with clients, I always encourage them to set their desired intention as well. Together we create a powerful net, enhancing any intention and unleashing its fullest potential. Once it has been established, I let go and trust. Then I can feel the intention working alongside, keeping the energy flow on track and direct it to where it is needed most. This gives the healing energy a more powerful effect for the client to receive.
Setting the right intention at the beginning of a healing session is also a prerequisite to keep the attention during a session. As we know, it is not always easy to hold attention and focus for a longer period of time. In particular it can be a challenge for activities that are happening on a more unconscious level with seemingly little visible activity. Should I feel my awareness to drop, all I need to do, is to quickly reconnect it with the intention I have set. Just gently touching it and it will continue to hold.
Once I have set my intention and tuned into it, it is reassuring, that I can rely on the healing to go smoothly. It does keep me fully immersed in what I am doing, remaining focussed and concentrated while the energy flows. And I know, that the energy reaches the client wherever it is most beneficial for them.
Setting a strong intention has become a natural to me. Yet I am always in awe, what a powerful tool it is and can be.
Sincerely
Astrid Esther
